Immortality

This absurd reach of time we consider our lives never yields to logic or reason until we die. Our friends, enemies and families will do the math and our time labeled with whatever conclusion. Live yer life. Don't fight it. What seems strange or frightening or painful eventually equals triumph and respect and love. The infinitesimal moments are where the magic happens. Live there. Live in those split seconds. Live in those flashes. If you live there, in the smallest glance and lightest embrace, immortality will find you before you can ever chase it down in a future that doesn't really exist at all.
